“I find beauty and magic in the silence that exists between all the “doing” in our lives. To me, this is life’s essence. I combine the classic techniques of watercolor and gouache painting along with detailed line drawing to create emotionally inspired artwork that encourages introspection and mindfulness. My most recent works focus on surreal landscapes as well as emotional landscapes of the human experience.”.

“I enjoy living and engaging in the energy of the urban environment, but I delight in refilling my tank with moments of solitude, like sipping a quiet cup of morning coffee alone in a busy café, reading books curled up on the couch with my cat Zipper, and noticing the stillness of urban architecture while taking an afternoon walk in my neighborhood. I illustrate because it feels good to imagine and appreciate and I want to share this experience with you.”.
