The Indian writer, translator, cultural journalist and literacy activist Arundhati Deosthale, the Uruguayan Quebec-based writer and language teacher Lucía Flores and the London-born young writer and storyteller Adjoa Wiredu were selected to come to Jiwar into this year’s Writing Program. Here they will work each on experiences as a literacy activist, on a novel called “Everyone’s book” and on signs and effects of economic and political changes on Barcelona locals.
