The NY poet Sharon Dolin and her students will close their workshop “writing about art” with a reading in Jiwar open to Barcelona poets. The public will be invited to read also their own poems in English or other languages. The event will be in English.

Apryl Miller is a visual artist who produces personal, intimate, work, that speaks of our universal state of imperfection and how it binds jus together. She tells her story through the poetry of bold patterns and vibrant color, freely and intimately taking the form of sculpture, collage, installations, paintings and the beauty of language. Her work resides at the intersection of joy and sorrow.

Sarah Key has written numerous cookbooks, essays for The Huffington Post, and has had poems published in a number of literary journals and magazines, online and in print. She has studied poetry at Cave Canem, the 92nd Street Y, and in workshops with Sharon Dolin. Dozens of trips to Barcelona have made her dizzy with love for Catalunya.

Stephanie Gangi lives, works and writes in New York City. Her poem, Four, won a Hippocrates Poetry and Medicine Award in 2014. She is closing in on finishing her first novel, The Next.
