The work and research of Cédric Camier reflects the dual career path he has pursued: musician and composer on the one hand, acoustic researcher on the other. He completed his doctoral dissertation in Paris (ENSTA and École Polytechnique) on the non-linear vibrations of cymbals. Today, his researches concern the sound localization and the sound field spatialization.

A graduate of the Conservatoire National de Région de Poitiers (FR) in piano, percussion and drums, and an experienced stage musician, having played in several jazz and live electronic bands in Europe and in Quebec, C. Camier complete now his master degree of Electro-acoustic composition at Université de Montréal and focuses his artistic esthetic on the exploitation of sociological models.
